Share by emailShare by email

My name is Inspector Louise Clarke and I am the neighbourhood policing
inspector responsible for local policing in the Newark and Sherwood
area.

I joined Nottinghamshire Police in 1999, starting my career on the beat at Worksop Police station before joining the CID Department.

From there I joined the Homicide team specialising in murder and serious crime investigations working from Carlton, St Anns and West Bridgford Police stations in Nottingham.

Returning to Worksop Police station on promotion, I worked as a Response Sergeant before becoming a Detective Sergeant. returning to the city to work at Carlton before taking the Detective Sergeant position at Newark CID for three years.

In August 2014, I took up the post of Inspector and I now hold the position of Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for the Newark and Sherwood area.

Some real progress has been made through the introduction of the neighbourhood policing model in terms of tackling anti-social behaviour and quality of life issues for local communities.

I will continue to listen to the public, prioritise the issues that are affecting them the most and effectively tackle the problems that people have while living and working in the area.
