Inspector Paul Ferguson

I am the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector responsible for local policing within the City Central area which covers the Arboretum, Radford & Castle, Berridge and Lenton and Wollaton East Wards.

I started my career with Nottinghamshire Police in 2000 after graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc. in Environmental Science.

My first posting in 2000 was to St Anns where I worked as a uniformed patrol officer before moving to a proactive team targeting robberies within the City. I then moved over to Radford Road working on the City response team covering the whole of the conurbation.

A few years later I returned to St Anns where I was promoted to Sergeant and worked on the local response team.

In 2008, I moved to the role of Sergeant on the Neighbourhood Policing team covering the Meadows area before moving in the same role to Clifton then back to St Anns in 2018.

In August 2021, I was offered the exciting opportunity to become the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Radford.

My heart is firmly within Neighbourhood Policing and I am committed to working with partners and colleagues to ensure that the area remains a safe place to work, live and visit.
