Inspector Andy Townsend's blog: July 2017

Share by emailShare by email

My name is Inspector Andy Townsend and I am the neighbourhood policing inspector responsible for local policing in the Arboretum area.

Each month, I’ll publish a new blog on the neighbourhood pages of the Nottinghamshire Police website to help keep you informed about the work of your local policing team, including details of recent incidents, crime trends, engagement opportunities and success stories in our area.

There is lots happening in our area, and there is much that we can do together to help keep our local community safe.

The summer looks set to be a busy time for us all, and over the next few months I will be giving you tips on how to keep your property safe if you are heading away on holiday, how best to be safe while enjoying nights out, and how to prevent your belongings from being stolen.

Working with you, keeping you informed and seeking out opportunities to hear what you think about your local police is really important to us.

In the meantime, thanks for your interest in my blog and don’t forget you can keep up-to-date with the work of your local policing team via Facebook, Twitter and by registering to receive alerts from local officers by email using Nottinghamshire Alert.
