February has been another busy month within the area with the team undertaking various operations and dealing with incidents. I am acutely aware of the importance of you knowing who your team are in Clifton so I thought I would just update you.

Sergeant Nigel Bradley

Constables Jon Cooper, Mohson Hussain and Matt Pooley

PCSO Nathan Heron, Anthony Parker, Matthew Holden, Matthew Walker, Carly Mattison, Phil Button.

Sergeant Tracy Jordan

Constables Darren White and James North

PCSO Marc Prangnell, Jake Cordon and Neil Williams.

Changes to our staff do occur but I do try and keep it to a minimum as I understand how important the local face of your officers is to you all.

Within our team also are our Community Protection collegues who are an integral part of what we do within the area as are our Special Constables to give up their free time to help make a difference to our community. Significantly the team we have are brilliant at assisting at short notice and are invaluable to us.

Our officers are engaged with primary Schools now so an opportunity to talk to our younger community is working well. I want our children within the area to feel they can talk to us and the team enjoy it too. Please encourage your children to speak to officers it really does create a better understanding with youngsters if they understand what we are doing and why.

We are still seeing a number of vehicles and properties insecure within the area. Please try and remember not everyone is honest and people will seize opportunities. Keep doors and windows locked and remove items that are visible from your vehicles.
