Appeal after Cotgrave crash

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a stolen car crashed into a telegraph pole in Cotgrave.

The collision, which involved a silver Ford Focus, happened in Stragglethorpe Road just after midnight on 31 March 2019.

It’s believed the driver left the scene in a taxi before police arrived.

Earlier police had received a report that a silver Ford Fiesta had been stolen from a communal car park in Broadmeer, Cotgrave, between 3pm on 30 March 2019 and 10.15am on 31 March 2019.

Anyone who saw the crash or who has any information is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 269 of 31 March 2019, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
