Each year, Nottinghamshire Police officers, staff and volunteers choose a charity to support and raise money for, with that charity being named the Chief Constable's charity that year.

Over the past year, the force has been supporting Papplewick Riding for the Disabled, raising nearly £4,000 as well as volunteering, donating furniture and providing a new 'clubhouse' for the group.

Nottinghamshire Police's Chief Constable, Craig Guildford, said: “It has been fantastic to be able to support the Papplewick RDA over the last year and the money we have raised as a force will go a long way in making a difference to those who attend.

"I would like to thank each and every one of our officers, staff and volunteers for the creative ways they have offered their support to the charity and for the generosity they have shown through the fantastic amount they have raised."
