Nottinghamshire Police Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following two incidents in Lenton yesterday.

The incidents on Thursday 13 February 2020 happened between 4.20-4.50pm which saw a group of youths assault a man and try to rob another man.

The first incident saw a man being punched by a group of teenagers at Park Street. The man suffered injuries believed to be minor.

Shortly later on Sherwin Road a man was knocked to the floor by the same group who demanded his mobile phone. The victim managed to run away from the group.

Officers were quick at the scene, but couldn't find the offenders after searching the area.

Detective Constable Nathan Fagan is leading the investigation. He said: "We are working closely with local partners, interviewing members of the community and looking at local CCTV footage.

"If you saw the incidents, please do get in touch as what you saw could help us track down the group of teenagers."

If you saw anything suspicious or witnessed either incident please call 101, quoting incident 618 of 13 February 2020.
