Officers are appealing for information after a 20-year-old woman was threatened with a knife in a road rage incident.

She was confronted by the man at the traffic lights next to Bolero Square, The Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham city centre, at around 1.15pm on Thursday (3 January). He tried to open the driver's side door but it was locked and he then produced a flick knife and waved it in a threatening manner before getting back into his vehicle and driving off.

He was driving a cream-coloured vehicle, possibly a VW Golf.

Officers investigating the incident believe there were a number of people in the area at the time and may have information that could help the enquiry. If you saw the incident, please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 376 of 3 January 2019. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
