The force would like to wish all our Sikh officers and staff a very happy Vasaikhi this weekend (Sunday 14 April 2019), as well as the thousands of Sikhs across Nottinghamshire.

The annual Vaisakhi parade marks the birth of the Sikh religion in 1699.

Thousands of people are due to take part in the procession from 10am as it starts from the Forest Recreation Ground to the Old Market Square.

All communities are invited to take part in the religious festival and learn about the religion.

Officers and staff will be  in the Market Square until 4pm, so please do come and engage with us.
