Man appears in court charged in connection with serious assault in Warsop

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with a report of a serious assault in Warsop.

Brett Huntley, 26, of Fell Wilson Street, Warsop, appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 30 November 2018) charged with affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 3 January 2019.

The charges relate to a report of a group of offenders who forced their way into a flat in Fell Wilson Street on 22 November 2018 before attacking a man outside the property.

The victim suffered injuries which required hospital treatment.
