Man appears in court charged over armed robbery at Beeston jewellers

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with an armed robbery at a Beeston jewellers.

John Williams, 46, of Lyndhurst Road, Nottingham, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court today (Saturday 9 February 2019) charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence.

The charges relate to a report of a robbery at the Onyx Goldsmith store in High Road, Beeston, just after 3pm on 30 January 2019.

Williams was remanded in custody to next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 11 March 2019.
