Man charged in connection with Lenton burglaries

A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with two burglaries and an attempted burglary.

Paul Shaw, of Denton Green, Broxtowe Estate, is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Monday 7 January).

Officers were called to an attempted break-in at a house in Devonshire Promenade, Lenton, at around 12.20pm on Friday (4 January).

Police were quickly on the scene and whilst in the area received another report of a burglary at God's Vineyard Ministries in Derby Road, Lenton, where staff had challenged a suspected burglar.

Officers arrested a man who was found in possession of electrical items taken in a burglary at Coor's Jerk Spot in Lenton Boulevard, Lenton on Friday (4 January).

Shaw was later charged and remanded for court in connection with the three incidents.
