Man charged with criminal damage to mosque

A 69-year old man has been charged with four counts of criminal damage at a Hyson Green mosque.

Graham Marshall, of Birkin Avenue, Hyson Green, has been charged with two counts of racially-aggravated criminal damage and two counts of criminal damage, in connection with two incidents at the mosque in Hubert Street.

The charges relate to incidents on Sunday 16 and Saturday 22 December, where it was reported that spit had been found on the front door of the building.

Marshall is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday 5 February.
