Man due in court in connection with knife-point robbery

A 34-year-old man is due in court today in connection with a knife-point robbery.

Gregory Farren, of Reeders Croft, Chillwell, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.

The charges are in connection with an incident where a woman had a bangle taken at knife-point in Selside Court, Chilwell, at around 4.50pm on Thursday (10 September).

Inspector Simon Riley said: "Nottinghamshire Police treats robbery and knife crime seriously and has teams dedicated solely to investigating these types of crimes.

"We investigate robbery and knife crime robustly and will seek to put suspects before the court at the earliest opportunity."
