Police arrested three men and recovered stolen property following reports of an aggravated burglary in West Bridgford and two street robberies in Nottingham.

Three offenders, who were wearing face coverings, forced their way into a property in Holme Road at about 1.14am today (Monday 11 February 2019).

They threatened the occupants before leaving with property from the address. The offenders fled the scene on foot.

None of the occupants were hurt during the incident but all were left very shaken by what happened.

Officers swiftly arrived and searched the area. Three men were found nearby and were detained after a short foot pursuit. Stolen property was also recovered.

Three men, aged 36, 31 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

The same three men were also subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with two street robberies in Nottingham.

We were called to reports that a man had been robbed by three men in Abbey Street, Dunkirk, at around 8.50pm yesterday (Sunday 10 February 2019) then about an hour later a woman was reportedly robbed in the Castle Marina retail park, also by three men.

The men remain in police custody.
