Officers appealing for information following robbery at Bestwood Park

Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following a robbery in Bestwood Park on Wednesday (16 October 2019).

The incident occurred at Chediston Vale park at around 9pm where a 16-year-old boy was hit over the head by something similar to a wooden cosh and also been threatened with a knife.

A red iPhone XR and jewellery were stolen.

The victim was taken to QMC and has been released after receiving swelling and bruising to his head and face.
