Police arrest man, 20, following reports of road rage incident

Police arrested a man on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) after responding to a reported road rage incident in Sneinton.

Officers received reports that a pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was assaulted after being involved in an altercation with a driver.

It happened on Sneinton Dale just before 3.50pm yesterday (Thursday 7 November 2019).

The victim was taken to hospital with facial injuries which are not believed to be serious.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man yesterday in connection with the incident. He currently remains in custody.
