Update: Further arrests following Forest Fields fight

Three men aged 21, 22 and 25 have been arrested after a report of an altercation in Forest Fields.

Officers attended Stanley Road after a man was reported to be unconscious in the street following a fight.

Police arrived quickly at the scene and made three arrests in connection with the incident.

Two men were taken to hospital for treatment to their head and arm. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-altering.

A police cordon was in place while officers established the circumstances.

Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow , of Nottinghamshire Police, is leading the investigation. She said: “We received a report that a man had been assaulted at around 3.15pm on Thursday and deployed officers to the scene.

“It is thought that there was an altercation between a group of men in the street, resulting in one man being knocked unconscious.

"A police cordon was in place for a short period of time whilst officers conducted their investigation.

“There will be extra patrols in place throughout Friday and the weekend to  reassure local residents.

“We are now appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
