Update: Man arrested in connection with firearm discharge in Clifton

Police have arrested a man in connection with a firearm discharge in Clifton.

The 23-year-old man was arrested today (Monday 9 September 2019) on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life and on suspicion of criminal damage. He remains in custody.

Officers had been called to a report that the front door of an address on Kilsby Road had been shot at around 11.20pm on Friday 30 August 2019.

No-one was inside the property at the time and no-one was injured.

Officers are still appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information about the incident to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1047 of 30 August 2019, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
