Update: Man arrested as part of firearms investigation

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a firearms discharge in Arnold.

A man is believed to have fired a shotgun toward the driver of a vehicle in Roundwood Road, at 11.45am on 8 June 2019. There was no apparent damage or injuries as a result of the incident.

Detective Inspector Steve Wragg, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "A team of detectives has been working hard on this investigation and while we now have a man in custody our enquiries are continuing and we would urge anyone with information that could help us to come forward.
