Update: Police formally identify motorcyclist who died in Retford crash

A motorcyclist who died in a collision in Retford on Sunday 19 July 2020 has been formally named as 26-year-old Aaron Brown, of Retford.

Officers were called at 1.35pm to a report of a crash in Whitehouses Road involving a motorbike and a car.

Mr Brown died at the scene.

Investigator Sarah Butler, from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We are continuing to appeal for information about the collision.

"Anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have captured either of the vehicles involved on dashcam footage is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 420 of 19 July 2020."

Mr Brown's family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
