We have seen a significant amount of rain across Nottinghamshire today. The following roads are currently closed:

  • Berry Hill Road, Mansfield, from roundabout to Kin's Walk.
  • Bridge over A1 from Western Road to Egmanton.
  • A60 Langold to Oldcotes
  • A64 Oldcotes to Blyth
  • A1 northbound, from North Muskham to Apley Head
  • A617 Rainworth - near Lockwell roundabout
  • Laxton Road in Egmanton
  • Shireoaks Common in Rhodesia (under the bridge)
  • Shireoaks Road, Shireoak (outside Hudson Farm)
  • Kirton - B1164 - Tuxford Egmanton
  • Rotherham Baulk, Carlton-in-Lindrick
  • Cross Street, Sturton Le Steeple

We would like to remind you, especially as darkness falls, to take extra care on the roads and to consider putting off your journey if you can.

Remember that it will take a lot longer to stop your car in wet weather, so leave plenty of room to the car in front.

You should take notice of all road closure signs and do not drive through large amounts of standing water.

If you have concerns and you are at risk of flooding please visit the Nottinghamshire County Council advice page.

Nottinghamshire Police is supporting colleagues in the Fire Service, local councils and the Environment Agency to support any residents who are at risk.
