Woman to appear in court charged over Radford distraction burglary

A woman is due to appear in court charged in connection with a distraction burglary in Radford.

Afua Boafo, 40, of Waterloo Promenade, Nottingham, was charged with burglary last night and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 13 March 2019).

It follows a report of a woman tricking her way into a 72-year-old woman’s flat in Portland Road, Radford, at about 6.15am on Monday (11 March 2019).

The woman asked the victim to use the toilet and then requested food before stealing a quantity of cash from her purse.
