Woman taken to hospital after collision

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a car in Nottingham this morning.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Mansfield Road, near to the Trinity Church, just before 6am.

The woman's injuries are not currently believed to be serious.

Two lanes were temporarily closed while the incident was being dealt with but the road is now back open.

Sergeant Pete Shaw, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Our enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

“We are asking anyone who saw what happened or any drivers who may have captured dash cam footage of the incident to please get in contact with us. 

"If you have any information which could help us please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 61 of 8 April 2021, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
