Police are appealing for witnesses after a lorry hit a lamppost and bollards before it mounted the pavement and crashed into a garden wall.
The street furniture, and the lorry, were substantially damaged during the incident which happened in Percy Street, Old Basford, at around 10.25am on Thursday (2 November 2023).
Officers spoke with the driver who tested negative for alcohol or drugs.
No injuries were reported.
Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
PC Pearce Riley, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit, said:
“This incident happened near to a school mid-morning so we’re thankful no-one was injured.
“To assist us with our ongoing inquiries, we’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened, who may have recorded CCTV footage, or who may have been driving along this road and captured dashcam footage.
