Detectives investigating a fight in Nottingham city centre have released this CCTV image of someone they would like to speak to.
Police were called to a report of a group of young men fighting with weapons in Canal Street shortly before 1pm on 18 October 2023.
Officers were quickly at the scene and have been carrying out an investigation which has involved analysing CCTV and carrying out other local inquiries.
Three men, aged 18, 22 and 26, along with a 16-year-old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of affray in relation to the incident.
Detectives are now in a position to release this image of a male who could hold vital information.
Detective Constable Richard Naylor, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We continue to make progress with our investigation into this incident and I hope that provides reassurance to people living, working and studying in this neighbourhood.
“We want to speak to the man pictured urgently and would urge anyone who knows him or has any other information to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone involved in the incident to do the right thing and come forward so we can take their account.
“This was a large-scale disturbance in a busy location that would have attracted a lot of attention. I would also urge anyone with additional information, dash-cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage who has not already spoken to an officer to come forward.”
