Police are seeking the public’s help after high-value pieces of jewellery were stolen during a house burglary.
Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and a bag were among the valuables taken during the break-in at a four-bedroom home in Lower Regent Street, Beeston.
The victim’s MacBook Pro was also stolen during the raid which is believed to have happened between 2.30pm and 5pm on Thursday 20 June 2024.
Police investigating the burglary have now released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Police Constable David Hirst, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Some of the stolen jewellery items have significant sentimental value to the owner, including family heirlooms and a necklace which was a gift from her mother.
“She has been left devastated by this raid and it has made her feel anxious living in her own home.
“We know burglary can have a significant and long-lasting impact on victims, both financially and emotionally, and that is why we are working hard to track down whoever committed this crime and bring them to justice.
“As part of our ongoing inquiries we have issued images of a man we want to identify and speak to. We believe he could have information which could help us in our investigation, so we’d urge anyone who recognises him to please get in touch with us.
“Anyone who knows him is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 45 of 21 June 2024, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
