Stabbing in Hickings Lane, Stapleford

Officers were called to Hickings Lane this evening at 6.36pm following reports of an altercation in the carpark outside the Starfish fish and chip shop.

The altercation was believed to have been between two men and a 23-year-old man suffered a stab wound.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics and his injury is not thought to be life threatening at this time. The suspect left the scene and officers are investigating the incident.
