A teenager has been charged with burglary after a suspect was spotted inside a garden shed.
Police were called to an address in Bidford Road, Broxtowe, at around 7.30pm on Sunday (5 November) and arrested a suspect.
A significant quantity of power tools and a knife were recovered from the scene.
A 16-year-old boy has now been charged with burglary and possessing a knife.
The boy, who can’t be named, has been bailed to appear at Nottingham Youth Court on 22 November.
PC Connor Richardson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Offences of this nature can be frightening for victims and will always bring about an immediate police response.
“I am pleased we have now been able to charge a suspect in this case and recover a large amount of suspected stolen property.”
