Police are seeking the rightful owners after uncovering a treasure trove of suspected stolen bikes in a garage.
A haul of bikes was seized by officers after a bike reportedly stolen from a garden in Bramcote was tracked to a garage in Montrose Court, Stapleford.
Following inquiries, police found a total of 12 bikes in the garage, on Monday 18 September, with a number suspected to have been stolen during garage and shed break-ins in the Beeston and Bramcote areas.
Inspector Mike Ebbins, District Commander of Broxtowe, said: “We are aware of the public's concern around bike theft in the Broxtowe area and have been working with community intelligence to identify handlers.
"This has led to an arrest and a number of bikes being found. Now we have found the bikes we are keen to reunite them with their owners."
Officers have already managed to reunite three of the bikes and we have now released images of the rest in the hope of tracing their true owners.
