Police found suspected Class A drugs and two lock knives hidden in a bedroom after a tip-off.
Officers discovered the illegal items when they attended a house in Maud Street, New Basford, at around 12.40pm on Monday (19 August).
A wad of cash and a box of drug paraphernalia was also found in the room.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
He has been bailed while further investigation work is carried out, including forensic examinations of the items found.
PC Harry King, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“The public help us out as an extra set of eyes and ears so it is always good to hear about people getting in touch with intelligence like this.
“It has allowed us to seize a quantity of suspected drugs, take it out of circulation and destroy it.
“We know the impact drugs continue to have on our communities and that it why tackling drug-related crime remains a force priority.
“I would urge anyone who has information about drug dealing in their neighbourhood to get in touch with us on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
