A man has been charged with drink-driving after a car collided with a police car.
Officers had pulled over in Bramcote Street, Radford, to speak to a member of the public.
Minutes later, a black Ford Mondeo clipped the rear of the marked police car.
The driver of the Mondeo was arrested after failing a roadside breathalyser test.
Stelian Mocanu, of Moorgate Street, Radford, has been charged with drink-driving.
The 32-year-old has been bailed and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 13 September.
The collision happened shortly after 2am on Thursday, 29 August.
