A suspect has appeared in court after items were stolen from two local businesses.
Adrian Abbott, aged 42, has been charged with burglary and theft after the incidents at an office in Middleton Boulevard, Wollaton, and a pub a short distance away.
Items including a computer and electrical cables were stolen during incidents on Monday 12 August.
Abbott, of Cuxton Close, Strelley, was arrested by officers from the City West neighbourhood policing team and is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on 28 August.
PC Jonathan Morgan, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Break-ins of this nature have a significant financial impact on local businesses and we will always work hard to investigate them.
“I am pleased we have now been able to identify a suspect and put him before the courts.”
