Police arrested a suspect and seized a knife after reports a woman was making threats in the street.
Officers were called to the disturbance outside a home in Wheatcroft Drive, Edwalton, around 7.30pm on Saturday (10 August).
A suspect was found a short time later and detained by officers.
The knife was also seized and it was discovered the front door of the property had been damaged.
A 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place, threatening behaviour and criminal damage.
Inspector Tim Cuthbert, local area commander for Rushcliffe, said:
“Knife crime is thankfully extremely rare in Rushcliffe and we work hard every day to ensure that continues to be the case.
“I’d like to reassure neighbours and other members of the community that this was an isolated incident involving two people known to each other.
“I’d also like to thank the officers who attended for their efficient work and prompt arrest of a suspect.”
