Police seek public's help after man assaulted in nightclub

Police have issued images of a man they’d like to trace after an assault inside a nightclub.

CCTV shows a man intervening in a brawl that had broken out between several other individuals at a venue in Mansfield town centre.

During the intervention, the man punched one of the individuals several times.

Police believe the pictured man can assist them with their inquiries into the incident, which took place shortly before 2.30am on 29 September.

PC Amy Pustelnik, who is investigating the incident, said:

“Violence of this kind is simply not acceptable.

“We have conducted a number of inquiries into this incident and we believe the man pictured could help us further our investigation.

“Are you the man in the picture? Do you know who he is?  Please get in touch with us if you have any information.”
