Police have charged a second man in connection with a stabbing at a city centre bar.
Officers were called to the Skybar, inside The Cornerhouse, in Forman Street, Nottingham, shortly before 10pm on Saturday 6 July.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries. Following treatment he was later discharged.
A suspect was arrested yesterday afternoon (Monday 29 July) and was subsequently charged with committing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Kyrone Moore, aged 31, of Premier Road, Hyson Green, is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 30 July).
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Gould, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “I’m pleased we have now charged a second suspect in connection with this violent attack which resulted in serious injuries being inflicted.
“As a force, we treat reports of weapon-enabled crime with the utmost seriousness and will always do everything we can to seek justice for victims.
“We now await the outcome of this serious case through the courts.”
