A drug dealer has been jailed after police found a bag full of cocaine and heroin when they searched him.
Tishawn White had 80 wraps of Class A drugs when officers went to arrest him on unrelated matters on 5 January 2024.
Police knocked on the door of an address in Ilkeston Road, Radford, Nottingham, and found White inside.
As well as the drugs, the 27-year-old was also found in possession of multiple mobile phones.
White, of Springmeadow Road, Birmingham, was jailed for two years and nine months when he appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday (6 March).
He had earlier pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.
Detective Constable Charlotte Webster, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Class A drugs continue to cause immense harm in communities across Nottinghamshire and our officers work hard every day to bring dealers like White to justice.
“These criminals make their profits from the misery of others and it is always good news when positive police action like this puts a dealer behind the bars and takes drugs out of circulation.”
