The family of a man who died after a road traffic collision have released a touching tribute to their “devoted” son and brother.
Cain Parker, aged 23, was fatally injured by a car on the evening of 6 November, shortly before 11pm.
His family has now released a loving tribute to their son, brother, uncle, and friend.
They said:
“My brother, Cain Parker known to those that loved him as Kenny Fitzpatrick tragically had his life taken on his way home from work on 6 November 2024.
“It was me and you against the world Kenny and no matter what I would protect you, I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you this time.
“I can't get the image of you lying on the cold floor out of my head. I don't know what to do now, I don’t know how to feel, I don’t know what to think, nothing feels real.
“Kenny wasn't just a brother to me he had a total of four sisters and 10 brothers. He was a son whose mum is distraught - it's torn her world apart losing him so young.
“He was an uncle to many and a friend and was also expecting a daughter in early 2025.
“Everything Kenny did in the last few months of his life was for his daughter, he was devoted to making himself a better life for his baby girl.
“Kenny you were loved by so many people and will be missed by many more.
“We all love you so much until we see again sleep tight baby brother.”
