Police investigating a burglary at an outdoor clothing store have charged a suspect.
Officers were called after clothing items worth approximately £2,100 were stolen following a break-in at Blacks, in Wheeler Gate, Nottingham city centre.
The burglary took place shortly before 5am on Saturday 7 September and an arrest was made shortly afterwards.
Cameron Prjanikov, of London Road, Nottingham, has been charged with burglary. The 25-year-old appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday (9 September) and was granted bail ahead of his next appearance at the same court on 15 January 2025.
Sergeant Rebecca Thomas, who is overseeing the investigation, said:
“Incidents of this nature can have a very considerable impact on local businesses and are always thoroughly investigated by Nottinghamshire Police. I am pleased we have now been able to charge a suspect in this case.”
