Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after gunshots were reported in a residential street.
Armed officers were called to Blundell Close, St Ann’s, at 12.25am today (Thursday) and pulled over a car nearby.
Three men, aged 20, 20 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of affray. An investigation into what happened is continuing.
Detective Sergeant Alana Scott, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We are working hard to understand exactly what happened here and are appealing directly to local residents to tell us what they saw and heard.
“We would particularly like to hear from anyone who saw a grey pick-up truck driving in the area in the moments before and after this incident.
“As our investigation continues residents will notice an increased police presence in the area and are encouraged to talk with our officers if they have any concerns.”
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 101 in confidence quoting incident 6 of 19 September 2024.
