A woman has appeared before magistrates following a stabbing outside a Nottingham home.
Police were called to a street disturbance in Morris Road, Strelley, around 5.45pm on Thursday (29 August).
Paramedics had reported a woman had been stabbed in the arm and side of her torso.
The woman was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers found a number of people in the street on arrival and investigations revealed two other people had been assaulted.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ellie Skinner, of Penistone Road, Hillsborough, Sheffield, has been charged with committing grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of assault by beating and possession of a knife in a public place.
She appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (31 August) and was bailed until her next appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 27 September 2024.
Detective Sergeant Al Prentice, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Detectives worked quickly to secure these charges and I hope people living in the neighbourhood are comforted by our robust response.”
