Detectives investigating a Stapleford burglary are trying to trace the two people in these pictures.
Police were notified after two unknown men reportedly tried to force their way inside a property.
After briefly managing to gain access to the house in Trowell Park Drive, the duo fled empty-handed towards Ilkeston Road.
Nobody sustained any injuries during the incident, which reportedly happened just before midday on Saturday (19 April).
Officers have now released images of two people they’d like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Simon Harrison, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“While nothing was taken during this incident, it was still very unpleasant and will no doubt have shaken up the people who were inside the house at the time.
“With that in mind, we’re keen to track down the people in these pictures as soon as possible, as we believe they could have information that could assist our investigation.
“We’d ask anyone who recognises either of these men to please let us know. Likewise, we’d urge them to make themselves known to us as soon as possible.
“Anyone who has any information is asked to report it to the police by calling 101, quoting incident 241 of 19 April 2025, while Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously by ringing 0800 555 111.”
