Officers investigating an assault in Nottingham city centre have released an image of a man they would like to speak with.
Police were called at 4.40am on Sunday 29 December after three young men were assaulted in Clinton Street East, near Lower Parliament Street.
The victims, who were walking towards a nightclub, suffered facial injuries during the incident and were later treated in hospital.
One suffered a fractured cheekbone.
Following enquiries, four men - two aged 24 and the other two aged 25 - were arrested in connection with the incident.
They were all interviewed and bailed with conditions whilst the investigation continued.
Today, officers are releasing new CCTV images of a fifth person they would like to trace in connection with the incident.
Sergeant Stephanie Clough, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a nasty incident and we are continuing to make good progress in our investigation.
“We believe the man pictured in this image will have information valuable to our investigation and would ask him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward as soon as possible.”
If you recognise the person in the image, please call 101 quoting incident 89 of 29 December 2024.
