Two suspects have been placed before the courts after police found drugs and false documents when they searched a home.
Officers attended the property in Abbey Road, West Bridgford, around 9.40am on Sunday (9 February) and recovered large amounts of cannabis and cash, a quantity of suspected cocaine, high-value items and hundreds of false documents.
My Le, aged 28, and twenty-seven-year-old Kien Pham, both of Abbey Road, have been charged with three counts of possession of identity documents with intent, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of criminal property.
Pham has also been charged with importing a Class B drug.
They appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday (10 February) and were remanded in custody until 10 March 2025 when they are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
Inspector Tim Cuthbert, neighbourhood policing inspector for Rushcliffe, said:
“Officers from multiple policing teams worked on this investigation and their efforts have resulted in these two suspects being placed before magistrates at the earliest opportunity.
“We understand heightened police activity in the neighbourhood may have caused concern so I would like to thank residents for their cooperation.”
