Police are appealing for help finding a man they want to speak to following an assault in Nottingham city centre.
A 25-year-old was left needing hospital treatment after he was hit on the head with a bottle in an unprovoked attack.
The incident happened outside a pub in South Sherwood Street in the early hours of 15 December.
Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image as they believe he can assist with the investigation.
PC Stefan Vandaele, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a completely unacceptable attack that left a man having to undergo treatment in hospital.
“We have been trawling through all of the CCTV footage available from the night as part of our investigations, to help establish what happened.
“After inspecting the footage in detail, we have identified a man who we believe will be able to assist us with our inquiries.
“If you recognise him or have any more information that could help us with our investigation, please contact us on 101 quoting incident 486 on 15 December 2024.”
