An 81-year-old woman has died following a collision in Balderton.
The pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car at the junction of London Road and Hawton Lane around 4.50pm on Monday (30 December).
She was taken to hospital but despite the efforts of medical staff died a short time later.
The woman’s family is being supported by officers.
The driver stopped at the scene and was spoken to by police. No arrests have been made.
Detective Constable Emma Temple, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“This was a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the woman’s family at an incredibly difficult time.“
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have recorded dashcam footage which could assist officers with their inquiries is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 485 of 30 December.
