Police investigating an assault on a woman have released an image of a man they’d like to trace.
The victim, who is in her 50s, was watching a gig in Nottingham when a man repeatedly fell into her.
She asked him a few times to give her some space but the man carried on stumbling into her, as well as waving his arms over her head.
CCTV shows the woman eventually push his arm away, prompting the man to assault her.
The incident happened shortly before 10.30pm on 12 December at a music venue off Goldsmith Street.
Officers have been attempting to trace the man in this image and are now appealing for the public’s help.
PC Ryan Prince, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a completely unacceptable assault on a woman who was trying to enjoy the gig.
“We are determined to find the person responsible and we are keen to hear from anyone who knows the man pictured, as we believe he can help us with our investigation into what happened.
“Nottingham is renowned for its vibrant nightlife and we will not tolerate anyone who comes into the city and ruins people’s evening by acting in a violent manner.”
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting crime occurrence 24*750415, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
