A suspect is due to appear in court after a man was reportedly stabbed inside a house.
Officers attended an address in Plantation Road, Keyworth, around 11.45pm on Saturday (4 January).
That’s after they’d received reports a man had been seriously injured inside the building.
He was taken to hospital for treatment after being found with a single stab wound to his back.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
Suspect Michelle Walker, 38, has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Walker, of Plantation Road, Keyworth, is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (6 January).
Detective Inspector James Oakton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“While we appreciate news of a potential stabbing will concern residents, we want to reassure them that this was an isolated incident that posed no wider risk to the public.
“We are pleased to hear that the man’s injuries aren’t believed to be as serious as originally thought when the call came in.”
