Eligibility
To be eligible to transfer to Nottinghamshire Police, you will:
- be currently serving at the rank of constable in a recognised Home Office Police force.
- have successfully completed your probationary period
- have an acceptable performance, attendance and disciplinary record
Rejoining
We actively encourage former officers to return to policing with Nottinghamshire Police; whether you left to focus on family, experience a different force or to try a different career altogether, your skills and experience will be a valuable addition to our team. The eligibility criteria are that you have left within a reasonable amount of time, had successfully completed your probationary period and had an acceptable performance, attendance and disciplinary record.

Successful candidates
Successful candidates will be placed onto a transferee holding list will be considered for upcoming vacancies across our force area. Once a suitable vacancy arises, applicants will be given an unconditional offer of employment and the next available start date for their training.
