Bassetlaw Neighbourhood Priorities agreed for the next three
months (January 2020 to March 2020)

Priorities set by Inspector Neil Bellamy at the Local Policing Priority Setting (LPPS) meeting.

In Bassetlaw we set Policing Priorities every three months.
We now set 3 priorities, based on various types of information received such as
Crime and Disorder Surveys and calls received.

We continue to receive information from the Local Authority (Elected and Executive), County Councillors, Local Councillors and Bassetlaw
Residents (utilising surgeries and other engagement) about the issues and
concerns in their area.

This enables me to consider as wide a range of information
as possible for the priorities to be decided.

The priorities as identified by the Office of the Police and
Crime Commissioner for the residents of Bassetlaw are as follows:

Drug use and dealing

Reckless & dangerous driving

Burglary

Speeding

Car Crime

The priorities as identified by the Priority Setting Meetings
of East Bassetlaw are as follows:

RETFORD – Vehicle Nuisance, Speeding, Burglary

RURALS – Speeding, Rural Crime (poaching/quads), Burglary

HARWORTH – Anti-social Behaviour, Burglaries, Vehicle
Nuisance including off road/quad bikes

The priority for WORKSOP as identified by the Elected Leader
of the Local Authority remains the Town Centre specifically with regard to Anti-Social
Behaviour relating to drug use.

Illicit drugs and their illegal sale, use, and their
resultant behaviour appear within a number of areas and as such will be
regarded as Priority 1 for Bassetlaw.

Vehicle related issues including reckless and dangerous
driving, speeding and off-road use appear within a number of areas and as such
will be regarded as Priority 2 for
Bassetlaw
.

Antisocial Behaviour while not appearing within the OPCC
priorities does appear on East Bassetlaw areas, and within the Town Centre at
Worksop and therefore within a number of areas and as such will be regarded as Priority 3 for Bassetlaw.
